Ten Things for my Roommate to Know (Day 24)

I leave on Thursday to attend Allume. It is a conference for women who are bloggers and writers. It seems surreal that I am going. Can not wait to hear the speakers and meet a wonderful community of bloggers I’ve connected with in the last few months.

I’m rooming with some women I have only met through their written word. Wrote this post as a link up to connect roommates. You can see all the posts here.

Top Ten Things My Roommates Should Know

#10   I’m more of a morning person, but…..

 #9   I’m an extroverted introvert and….

#8   I love asking questions and listening, which means….

#7   I always stay up way too late at such gatherings because I don’t want to miss any conversation or a part of anyone’s story!

#6   I love chai- it is my drink of choice, however…

#5   Some friends are making a concentrated effort to turn me into a flavored  creamer with a bit of coffee drinker

#4   My husband says I should share that I’m an only child (now why would that be important for a roommate to know?) and…

#3 I snore sometimes. (has not been proven- I’ll bring those nose things just in case)

#2 I get ready pretty fast in the morning. But if you hear any grumbling in the bathroom, I’m most likely fighting with my curly hair.

#1   I am thrilled to meet you! And looking forward to the ways God will move and teach and encourage throughout the weekend!

You can meet my roommate Laura here. She writes at Beholding Glory. And Angi here at Stuff Angi Likes. And Sara here  at Faith Family and Photography.

And in keeping with the Harvest theme of this week, realizing that by taking this adventure it is a harvest of words.

My soul is drawn to going. Responding to the labor of words in journals that line my book shelves. Answering yes to the seeds planted.

Getting in my car and driving to Harrisburg represents watering. Anticipating the harvest that will come.

Enjoy your fall week. And I hope you learned something about me, even if you aren’t rooming with me!

I’m participating with The Nester in 31 Days of Noticing Fall. This is Day 24.

You can find all 31 Dayers here. There are so many wonderful topics.
