Strengthen Me

Strenghten me

“My soul is weary. Strengthen me according to your word.”

Psalm 119:28

This alley is across from where my daughter went to preschool. I often thought it felt lonely. As though its time had past. As though it was worn out, but still remembered a time when it thrived and was alive with activity.

I took the picture on a rainy day. When my soul felt a similar weariness. And remembrance.

How is your soul this Saturday?

Praying along with you to be strengthened according to His word. By His love. To know deeply you are His and He will never stop renewing the weariest of places.

  1. Gorgeous post and picture! Happy Saturday!!

  2. How can a soul be bad looking at such a lovely photo and drinking in such a beautiful scripture?

Truthfulism! I am struggling with the dementia and some other body issues. My age is increasing…I’ll be 70 in a little more than 3 months…and trusting, worshiping, focusing on the Lord is all I can do, day-by-day, and night-by-night. He truly is “It”… and I often say I’ll be very happy to be in heaven! Seeing family and friends and Word people, including prophetic people for centuries. Anyhow, being here, being There. That’s all that counts. Thanks for sharing.
